Some services we offer…
-
Assessment of required movements needed to successfully perform all desired activities throughout a person’s day.
-
Manual therapy technique to improve the movement of the affected joint allowing a fuller range of motion to normalize function and decrease pain.
-
Mobilization of skin, muscle, tendon and ligament to improve blood flow and healing, allowing greater mobility for joints and reducing pain. It is also used to prepare for joint mobilization.
-
(PNF) A manual technique using targeted muscular recruitment and progressive contraction. This allows a relearning of proper movement patterns in limbs affected by neurological injury or by a joint that has become abnormal in its patterning. This technique activates muscle and simultaneously inhibits the antagonist of that movement.
-
Static and dynamic balance. Challenging a person’s balance in a controlled environment to improve the speed of nerve transmission from the limb to the brain and back. Sharpening the skills and responsiveness are required to avoid and prevent falls on any surface.
Improving the speed of transmission allows a person to decrease fall risk and improve athletic performance.
-
A therapeutic method for neuromuscular re-education of muscles associated with the face, jaw, teeth, and tongue. We also treat temporomandibular joint disorders through intraoral manual treatment as well as retraining.
-
Method of neuromuscular activation that requires the use of the Redcord suspension system to unweight the body for pain free strengthening, restoring movement patterns and improving function. This service requires the use of a clinic on Ocean Park Blvd.
-
Gentle form of massage to relieve sometimes painful swelling in different areas of the body that encourages the natural drainage of the lymph system.
